Emrix Sr 15mg Capsule is C20H21N.HCl. QUALITATIVE & QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION: Emrix&SR (Cyclobenzaprine HCl)) is available for oral administration) as:

1. Emrix&SR)Capsules)15mg Each capsule contains: Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride as extended & release pellets equivalent to Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride USP…15mg 2. Emrix&SR Capsules 30mg Each capsule contains Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride as extended&release pellets equivalent to Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride US ..30mg.

It is indicated as an adjunct to rest.

Side Effects

  • Yellowing of skin or eyes rare
  • Blurred vision
  • Skin Rash rare
  • Dry mouth
  • Dizziness and Drowsiness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Headache
  • Constipation
  • Sweating

  If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.


 When not to use it?

Emrix Sr 15mg Capsule is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug. This is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Emrix capsule SR 15 mg 14’s or any other inactive ingredients present along with the formulation.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) due to the increased risk of serious and life-threatening adverse effects.

Your doctor may suggest maintaining a time gap of at least 14 days to start therapy with this medicine after discontinuing the MAO inhibitor.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with hyperthyroidism (a condition where the thyroid gland produces too much thyroid hormones) due to the increased risk of worsening the patient’s condition
