VC-Cal Powder Sachets 10’s is used to treat symptoms caused by too much stomach acid such as heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion. It is an antacid that works by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach.

Uses Of VC-Cal Powder Sachets 10’s

This medication is used for treating symptoms such as,

  • heartburn
  • stomach upset
  • indigestion
  • It works by lowering stomach acid.

Side Effects

  • Gas
  • constipation
  • burping can all occur.

These effects may persist or get worse.

Tell your doctor immediately.

When not to use

Patients with,

  • renal calculi
  • hypercalciuria
  • hypophosphatemia.

  • A daily intake of 100-1200mg is recommended.
  • Excessive intake can cause kidney (kidney)
  • stone and even death.
  • Low levels of gastric acid can absorb less calcium when taken empty stomach.

Indications Of VC-Cal Powder Sachets 10’s

This supplement can be used to treat,

  • osteoporosis (extremely weak and thin bones)
  • rickets in children
  • growth and fractures with delayed-callus formation.
  • It can also be used to increase the mineral requirements during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Patients with hypercalcemia (high calcium levels) and hypercalciuria are not advised to take this supplement.
