Uses
Polymyxin B is indicated in infected ocular (eye) inflammation. Bacitracin is used topically in bacterial infections caused by sensitive organisms associated with inflammatory and / or allergic conditions of the eye.

Side Effects
Patients using Polyfax may at times experience corneal thinning, cataract, fungal infection and rise in intraocular (eye) pressure. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately before its late.

When not to use
Polyfax should not be used in patients with viral, fungal, tuberculous or purulent infections.
