Qusel 25mg Tablets 30’s is used to treat certain mental/mood disorders (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, sudden episodes of mania or depression associated with bipolar disorder). Quetiapine is known as an (atypical) antipsychotic.

  • Quetiapine is known as an (atypical) antipsychotic.
  • It helps restore the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain.
  • This drug can reduce hallucinations and improve concentration.
  • It helps to think more clearly and positively about yourself, to be less nervous and to participate more actively in everyday life.
  • It can also improve mood, sleep, appetite, and energy levels.
  • Quetiapine can prevent severe mood swings or reduce the frequency of mood swings.

Side Effects Of Qusel 25mg Tablets 30’s

  • Constipation, drowsiness, stomach pain, tiredness, weight gain, blurred vision, or dry mouth may occur.
  • If any of these symptoms persist or worsen, tell your doctor right away.
  • Dizziness or light-headedness may occur, especially when starting or increasing the dose of this medicine.
  • Drowsiness and dizziness can increase the risk of falling.
  • Stand up slowly from a sitting or lying position.
  • Remember, this medicine has been prescribed for you because your doctor has decided that the benefit for you is greater than the risk of any side effects.
  • Many people taking this drug do not experience any serious side effects.

How To Use Qusel 25mg Tablets 30’s?

  • Before you start taking quetiapine, and each time you are given any dietary supplement, read your pharmacist’s medication guide and package leaflet, if available.
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
  • Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually 2 or 3 times a day with or without food.
  • To treat depression associated with bipolar disorder, take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually once a day at bedtime.
  • The dosage depends on the patient’s medical condition, response to treatment and other medications being taken.
  • Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist about all products you use (including prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, and herbal products).

  • Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist about your medical history, especially: cataracts, liver disease, low white blood cell count (including a history of drug-related low white blood cell count), seizures, difficulty swallowing, Gastrointestinal obstruction (eg, severe constipation, bowel obstruction), lack of gastric/bowel movement (eg, bowel obstruction), personal or family history of diabetes, personal or family history of alcohol abuse , through use (such as drugs -/alcohol abuse). or addiction), heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol/triglycerides, difficulty breathing during sleep (sleep apnea), difficulty urinating (e.g. due to an enlarged prostate).
