Felbex Tablet 20mg 20’s
Felbex Tablet 20mg 20’s is used to treat painful disorders caused by inflammatory diseases including rheumatic pain, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Can also be used in postoperative pain, traumatic pain, painful period cramps, headaches including migraine, and toothache.
Felbex Tablet 20mg 20’s is composed of Piroxicam-beta-cyclodextrin (20mg). Piroxicam-beta-cyclodextrin must be used with caution by patients with Renal (kidney) impairment, hepatic (liver) problems, and heart failure (particularly elderly patients), Monitor those patients getting long-term therapy and those with phenylketonuria (metabolic disorder).
Piroxicam is used to reduce pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Piroxicam-β-cyclodextrin is an NSAID with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. Limited data available on the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of piroxicam-β-cyclodextrin suggest that it is equivalent to piroxicam in animal and human models of pain.
Uses
Felbex is being used in the management of acute and chronic pain disorders like osteoarthritis (type of arthritis), Rheumatoid arthritis (type of arthritis caused by autoimmune disorder), and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that affects the spine). Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), toothache, migraine headache, and post-operative and traumatic pain are also managed by this medicine.
Side Effects Of Felbex Tablet 20mg 20’s
Some patients may experience stomach disturbances, skin rash and reactions, edema (swelling), Malaise (body ache), brain effects, and Tinnitus (ringing in ears). Piroxicam can cause high blood pressure or make your high blood pressure worse. You may need to check your blood pressure level often while taking this drug. Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
When Not To Use
Felbex must not be used by patients with Active peptic ulcer, history of recurrent ulcerations, and Aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergy. This medicine should only be used during pregnancy if no safer alternative is available. Consult your healthcare provider before using this medicine.
