Calpol 6 Plus Susp 90ml

Calpol 6 Plus Susp 90ml is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic. It can be used in many conditions including headache, toothache, earache, sore throat, colds and influenza, aches and pains and post-immunization fever.

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a medication used to treat pain and fever. It is typically used for mild to moderate pain relief. Evidence is mixed for its use to relieve fever in children. It is often sold in combination with other medications, such as in many cold medications. Paracetamol is also used for severe pain, such as cancer pain and pain after surgery, in combination with opioid pain medication. It is typically used either by mouth or rectally, but is also available by injection into a vein. Effects last between two and four hours.

Uses

his medication is used for treating mild to moderate pain e.g. for headaches, tooth aches, backaches, etc. It can also be used for treating fever.

Paracetamol is also used for treating fever associated with Corona/COVID-19

Side Effects

The patients administered with this medicine may experience increased heart rate, decreased glucose levels, allergic reactions, and cyanosis (blue discoloration of the skin).If any of these side effects occurs consult your doctor. Bloody or black, tarry stools, bloody or cloudy urine ,fever with or without chills (not present before treatment and not caused by the condition being treated).

  • pain in the lower back and/or side (severe and/or sharp)
  • pinpoint red spots on the skin
  • skin rash, hives, or itching
  • sores, ulcers, or white spots on the lips or in the mouth
  • sudden decrease in the amount of urine.

When Not To Use

If you have a depressed respiratory rate (decreased rate of breathing) or any other serious side effects, please immediately contact your doctor.
