Xaltide Inhaler contains Beclomethasone Dipropionate and Salbutamol as active ingredients. Xaltide Inhaler works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of the small airways in the lungs; suppressing both inflammatory cells and the release of inflammatory mediators. Before using Xaltide Inhaler, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products , allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the Xaltide Inhaler insert. Dosage is based on your condition.  Xaltide Inhaler has interaction with Aminophylline, Atomoxetine, Digoxin, Furosemide.

Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects. If you suspect that you or anyone else who may have overdosed of Xaltide Inhaler, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home. Bring a medicine box, container, or label with you to help doctors with necessary information.

Uses

Xaltide Inhaler is used for Respiratory disease, Asthma, Lung disorder, Allergic rhinitis and other conditions

 Side effect :

Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

• Cough
• Tightness in the chest
• Hoarseness
• Hyperactivity in children
• Shortness of breath
• Difficulty breathing
• Feeling shaky
• Wheezing
• Noisy breathing
• Difficulty with swallowing
• Redness of the skin
• Slow or irregular breathing
• Swelling of the mouth or throat
• Muscle cramps
• Pounding
• Dry mouth
• Headache

When not use :

Hypersensitivity to Xaltide Inhaler is a contraindication. In addition, Xaltide Inhaler should not be used if you have the following conditions:

• Antepartum haemorrhage
• Cardiac disease
• Cardiovascular disease
• Eclampsia and severe pre-eclampsia intrauterine infection
• Intrauterine foetal death
• Placenta praevia
• hypersensitivity
