Xalatan 0.005% Eye drop 2.5ml

Xalatan 0.005% Eye drop 2,5ml is used to treat glaucoma (a condition in which increased pressure in the eye can lead to gradual loss of vision) and ocular hypertension (a condition which causes increased pressure in the eye). Latanoprost is in a class of medications called prostaglandin analogs.

Latanoprost effectively lowers IOP during the day and night with once nightly administration. The IOP reduction can be explained by an increase in uveoscleral outflow. The daytime effects of latanoprost on IOP and uveoscleral outflow are more pronounced than the nighttime effects.
Latanoprost, sold under the brand name Xalatan among others, is a medication used to treat increased pressure inside the eye. This includes ocular hypertension and open angle glaucoma. It is applied as eye drops to the eyes. Onset of effects is usually within four hours, and they last for up to a day.

Side Effects

Blurred vision, burning/stinging/itching/redness of the eye, feeling as if something is in the eye, changes in eyelash number/color/length/thickness, eyelid changes/skin darkening, dry eye, lid crusting/discomfort, or increased sensitivity to light may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
