Velosef Suspension 250mg/ 90ml is a cephalosporin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections (e.g., skin, ear, respiratory and urinary tract infections). It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections.

Cefradine (INN) or cephradine (BAN) or Velosef Susp 250mg/ 90ml is a first generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefradine is distributed in the form of capsules containing 250 mg or 500 mg, as a syrup containing 250 mg/5 ml, or in vials for injection containing 500 mg or 1 g. Cephradine is in a group of drugs called cephalosporin (SEF a low spor in) antibiotics. Cephradine fights bacteria in the body.

Cephradine is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, including upper respiratory infections, ear infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections.
