Description

Sumig Tab 50mg 12’s

Sumig Tab 50mg 12’s is used to treat migraines. It helps to relieve headache, pain, and other migraine symptoms (including nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light/sound). Prompt treatment helps you return to your normal routine and may decrease your need for other pain medications.

Sumatriptan Succinate is the succinate salt form of sumatriptan, a member of the triptan class of compounds with anti-migraine property. Sumatriptan succinate selectively binds to and activates serotonin 5-HT1 receptors.
The more common side effects that can occur with use of sumatriptan tablets include: feeling warm or cold. tingling or prickling sensations in your skin. pressure or pain in your chest, neck, jaw, or throat.
It belongs to a group of medicines called triptans, or serotonin (5-HT1) agonists. You take sumatriptan once a migraine or cluster headache has started. It is not a painkiller but you can use this medicine if painkillers or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) have not worked.
Sumatriptan was psychoactive, was discriminated from placebo, produced a dose-related decrease on euphoria scores, elevated scores on measures of apathetic sedation and disliking, and lacked identification as a prototypic drug of abuse.
