Description

Uses of Sulvorid 25mg Tab 20’s

  • Sulvorid 25mg Tab 20’s can be used for treating gastroesophageal resuscitation.
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disorder (GERD) is a condition that occurs when stomach acid is often reabsorbed into the stomach and into the oesophagus (food pipe). This acid reflux can cause irritation to the lining of the oesophagus, causing symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, heartburn and more.
  • Irritable intestinal syndrome (IBS) can be described as a very common disorder that affects the big intestinal tract, causing stomach pain diarrhoea, bloating, and constipation. Levosulpiride is a treatment for treatment of IBS.
  • Schizophrenia is a long-lasting brain disorder that impacts the ability of a person to feel, think, and behave clearly. Levosulpiride (50mg tablet and 100 mg tablet) is prescribed for treating schizophrenia.

How To use Sulvorid 25mg Tab 20’s?

  • You should completely swallow Levosulpiride without chewing or crushing the tablet.
  • The recommended dosage for Levosulpiride for dyspepsia and various GI issues are 25 mg tablet three times daily.
  • The dosage may be decreased in elderly patients, but it must be taken exactly as instructed by the physician.

When Not To Use

  • Do not take Levosulpiride when you have an allergy known to this medication.
  • If you notice any symptoms such as a skin rash, itching/swelling (especially in the face/throat/lips/tongue), breathing difficulty, etc., inform your doctor and seek immediate medical attention.
  • Epilepsy is a condition that causes nerve cell activity in your brain is disrupted which can cause seizures.
  • Levosulpiride isn’t advised if you suffer from epilepsy since it may cause seizures.
  • Bipolar disorder can be described as a disorder of the mood that is associated with mood swings that can range from depressive lows and manic highs.
  • Levosulpiride isn’t recommended for use when you suffer from bipolar disorder since it may cause manic episodes.
  • A pheochromocytoma can be described as benign (noncancerous) cancer that develops within the adrenal gland (small triangular glands located above the kidneys).
  • These tumors release hormones that cause an abrupt increase in blood pressure.
  • Levosulpiride should not be advised for use in these situations.
  • Gastrointestinal Perforation (GP) is when a hole is formed completely through the stomach’s wall small intestine, the stomach, or the large intestine, due to trauma or diseases.
  • Levosulpiride improves the gut’s mobility, causing a worsening of the condition.
