Sofohil Tab 400mg 28’s

Sofohil Tab 400mg 28’s is used with an interferon medication such as peginterferon alfa-2a [Pegasys] or peginterferon alpha-2b [PEG-Intron]) to treat hepatitis C in people who have not been treated with an interferon before. Ribavirin is in a class of antiviral medications called nucleoside analogues.

Tiredness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, or difficulty sleeping may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: mental/mood changes (such as depression), unusual tiredness.
The Hepatitis C virus is considered “cured” if the virus is not detected in your blood when measured with a blood test 3 months after treatment is completed. This is called a sustained virologic response (SVR) and data suggest that you will stay virus free indefinitely.
Patient-reported outcomes such as fatigue, vitality and mental health improve substantially in the two years following hepatitis C cure for people with cirrhosis, but people with cirrhosis are less likely than others to experience rapid resolution of severe fatigue after successful hepatitis C treatment.

Sofohil Tab 400mg 28’s is used in combination with other medication. Read the medication guide or patient instructions provided with each medication in your combination therapy. Do not change your doses or medication schedule without your doctor’s advice.

When Not To Use

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Sovaldi: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
