It is used by inhaling the medication into the lungs.

Seretide MDI Inh 25mcg 125mcg 1s is a corticosteroid, is the anti-inflammatory component of the combination which decreases inflammation in the lungs. This leads to improvement in breathing. Salmeterol, a LABA, treats constriction of the airways. The combination of both is meant to be used as maintenance therapy and not as a rescue therapy for sudden symptoms.

Side Effects

Seretide MDI Inh 25mcg 125mcg 1s the side effects of this medication include oral candidiasis (fungal infection of the mouth), hoarseness (heavy voice), headache, palpitations, hypersensitivity reactions, tremor (involuntary shaking), irregular heartbeats, myalgia (muscle pain), arthralgia (joint pain), muscle cramps and irritation in the throat.

When Not To Use

Seretide MDI Inh 25mcg 125mcg 1s include Thyrotoxicosis (high levels of thyroid hormone in the body), diabetes, low amount of potassium in the blood, high blood pressure, cardiac issues, seizures, asthma that is getting worse. Hypersensitivity to the medication or its constituents.

You may experience nasal irritation, taste disturbances, headache and anaphylaxis (life threatening allergic reaction).
