Roswin Tablets 5mg 10’s

Roswin Tablets 5mg 10’s Decrease elevated total cholesterol (total-C), LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides (TG) and to increase high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in adult patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (heterozygous familial and non familial) or mixed dyslipidemia (Fredrickson types IIa and IIb).

Swallow each tablet whole with a drink of water. Take Roswin Tab 5mg 10’s daily. You can take it at any time of the day with or without food. Try to take your tablet at the same time every day to help you to remember it.

Rosuvastatin is used along with a proper diet to help lower “bad” cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins.” It works by reducing the amount of cholesterol made by the liver.

Rosuvastatin is in a class of medications called HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins). It works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.
Uses
Rosuvastatin is used along with a proper diet to help lower “bad” cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. Side Effects

Muscle pain/tenderness/weakness (especially with fever or unusual tiredness), signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine).

When Not to Use

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
