Rolip 10mg Tablets is used with an appropriate diet to lower “bad” cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and increase “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.

Uses

• Rosuvastatin is used with an appropriate diet to lower “bad” cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and increase “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.
• It belongs to a group of medicines called ‘statins’.
• It works by reducing the amount of cholesterol produced by the liver.
• Lowering “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides and raising “good” cholesterol reduces the risk of heart disease and helps prevent strokes and heart attacks.
• In addition to an appropriate diet (such as a low-cholesterol or low-fat diet), other lifestyle changes that may improve the effectiveness of this drug may include exercise, weight loss if you are overweight, and stopping smoking.Talk to your doctor for more information.

How To Use Rolip 10mg Tablets?

• Read the package leaflet, if available from your pharmacy, before you start taking rosuvastatin and each time you are given a dietary supplement.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
• Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once a day.
• If you are taking this medicine in capsule form, swallow the capsules whole.
• Do not crush or chew the capsules.
• If you have trouble swallowing the capsules, read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
• You can gently open the capsule and sprinkle its contents onto 1 teaspoon of soft food (like applesauce or chocolate or vanilla pudding).
• Swallow the entire mixture without chewing.
• Use/dispose of mixture within 60 minutes.
• Don’t stock up ahead of time.
