Uses

  • Do not lie down for more than 10 minutes following the administration of this medication.
  • When stomach discomfort occurs during this medication, you can drink it in combination with milk, food, or an anti-inflammatory.
  • This can cause a delay in absorption and prolong the relief from pain.
  • Take the tablets in one swallow.
  • Avoid crushing, chewing, or breaking tablets.

  • It is possible that this medication could increase the chance of bleeding when used together with other drugs which can cause bleeding.
  • Examples include anti-platelet drugs such as clopidogrel, and “blood thinners” such as dabigatran/enoxaparin/warfarin, among others.

 

  • Before taking diclofenac tell your physician or pharmacist if you have an allergy to it or aspirin or any other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen naproxen, celecoxib,) or if you are allergic to any other substances.
  • This product could contain inactive ingredients that can trigger allergic reactions or other issues.

  • Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma (including a history of worsening breathing after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs)
  • Blood disorders (such as anemia, bleeding/clotting problems)

  • Heart disease (such as previous heart attack)
  • High blood pressure
  • Liver disease
  • Stroke
  • Swelling (edema, fluid retention)
  • Stomach/intestinal/esophagus problems (such as bleeding, heartburn, ulcers).
