Lotrix Cream 30 gm

Lotrix Cream 30 gm is used to treat scabies (‘mites that attach themselves to the skin) in adults and children 2 months of age and older. Over-the-counter permethrin is used to treat lice (small insects that attach themselves to the skin on the head) in adults and children 2 months of age and older.

Permethrin is a pyrethroid that can be inhaled, ingested, or absorbed through skin. Depending on the formulation, permethrin is a non-toxic to moderately toxic pesticide. Short-term side effects in sensitive individuals include eye, skin, nose, and throat irritation, and may include breathing problems.

Since scabies spreads fast, you’ll need to treat your home as well. This will help ensure the scabies are fully removed from your environment. Use disinfectant sprays, including those that contain permethrin, on surfaces and clothing. Apply rubbing alcohol or Lysol to kill bugs on hard surfaces.

As a treatment for clothing, Permethrin clothing insect repellent does not harm fabrics and is odorless after it dries. It will not stain or damage clothing, fabrics, plastics, finished surfaces, or any of your outdoor gear.

Mometasone furoate is used in the treatment of inflammatory skin disorders (such as eczema and psoriasis) (topical form), allergic rhinitis (such as hay fever) (topical form), asthma (inhalation form)for patients unresponsive to less potent corticosteroids, and penile phimosis.In terms of steroid strength, it is more potent than hydrocortisone, and less potent than dexamethasone.

Some low-quality evidence suggests the use of mometasone for symptomatic improvement in children with adenoid hypertrophy.

When Not To Use
