Description
Infexin 250mg capsule
Cefalexin is an antibiotic. It belongs to a group of antibiotics called cephalosporins. It’s used to treat bacterial infections, such as pneumonia and other chest infections, skin infections and urinary tract infections (UTIs).
How long do antibiotics take to work? Antibiotics begin to work right after you start taking them. However, you might not feel better for two to three days.
Cephalexin antibiotic begins to kill the bacteria causing a skin infection very quickly. However, you may not notice the skin infection improving for 2 to 3 days. Follow the directions on your cephalexin medication bottle—and finish all doses of cephalexin, even after the skin infection looks and feels better.
