Glucophage Tab 850mg 3×10’s is used in patients with type 2 diabetes. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems.

Take Glucophage with a meal, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Glucophage XR is taken only once daily with the evening meal. Follow your doctor’s instructions. Do not crush, chew, or break an extended-release tablet. 

Metformin oral tablets are used to treat high blood sugar levels caused by type 2 diabetes. They’re used in combination with diet and exercise. This drug may be used as part of a combination therapy.

The administration of metformin, as glucophage retard, at bedtime instead of supper time may improve diabetes control by reducing morning hyperglycemia.

Side Effects

Some patients administered with this medication might experience Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea and stomach pain. Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.

When Not To Use
