Uses Of Getformin Tablets 1/500mg 30’s
Getformin Tablets 1/500mg 30’s is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, when diet, exercise and glimepiride or metformin alone is unable to control your blood sugar levels adequately.

Indications
- Some medicines can affect the way glimepiride+metformin works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Inform your doctor about all medications, supplements or herbal products you are or may be taking to ensure that there is no interaction.
- You may experience symptoms of low blood sugar if you are taking glimepiride+metformin along with other medicines for diabetes like insulin, pioglitazone, medicines for high blood pressure (ACE inhibitors like captopril), steroids, chloramphenicol, fenfluramine, medicine to lower blood cholesterol (fibrates), medicine to treat psychiatric illnesses (fluoxetine), medicine to treat blood clotting like coumarins, cyclophosphamide, miconazole, probenecid, antibiotics like clarithromycin, doxycycline, ofloxacin, etc.
- There are signs of elevated blood sugar levels if you’re taking this mix in conjunction with oral contraceptives acetazolamide, phenytoin, medications to treat constipation such as phenytoin the thyroid medication rifampicin, and other issues.

Hypersensitivity to the drug as well as those suffering from Diabetic ketoacidosis as well as impaired kidney function
