Fortum 1g Injection
Fortum belongs to a group of medicines called cephalosporins. Fortum is used to treat a wide range of infections caused by bacteria. These infections may affect the chest (bronchitis or pneumonia), ears, nose, throat, bladder and urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, stomach or bones.

Side Effects
This medicine may cause pain at injection site, allergy, stomach upset, candidiasis (oral or vaginal infection), disorders which decrease white blood cell types (neutropenia, leucopenia), increased liver enzymes and blood urea, positive coomb’s test (test which detect antibodies against red blood cells). Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
When not to use
Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant. Please consult your doctor before using this medicine when breast feeding.
