Side Effects
Some patients taking Cefixime might experience an upset stomach, headaches, dizziness, or rashes. Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
When not to use
It will not work for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.
Indications:
This medication is used in the treatment of ailments of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue (e.g. otitis media), and biliary tract (gall bladder and bile duct).
Administration:
This medication is chiefly taken orally. The dose depends upon the age, illness and its seriousness. Please consult with your physician prior to use.
