Febhil Tablets 80mg 20’s is in a class of medications called xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It works by decreasing the amount of uric acid that is made in the body. Febuxostat is used to prevent gout attacks but not to treat them once they occur. Febuxostat oral tablet is used to treat hyperuricemia (constantly high levels of uric acid) in adults who have gout. It helps decrease your symptoms of gout. Symptoms of gout include pain, swelling, redness, heat, soreness, and stiffness in certain joints.
