This medication is recommended in mixed candidal (fungal) infections. This medicine should be taken with food.
Drinking alcohol while taking tinidazole causes an unpleasant disulfiram-like reaction, which includes nausea, vomiting, headache, increased blood pressure, flushing, and shortness of breath.
When Not to Use
This medication should be avoided if you are allergic to corticosteroids.
