Diora 50mg Capsules

Diora 50mg Capsules also known as diacetylrhein, is a slow-acting medicine of the class anthraquinone used to treat joint diseases such as osteoarthritis (swelling and pain in the joints). Diora 50mg Capsule works by inhibiting interleukin-1 beta. Diora 50mg Capsule is a symptomatic slow-acting drug in osteoarthritis (SYSADOA) with anti-inflammatory, anti-catabolic and pro-anabolic properties on cartilage and synovial membrane. Diora 50mg Capsulehas also recently been shown to have protective effects against subchondral bone remodeling.

This Capsule is a medicine that belongs to the anthraquinone class and is used to treat the symptoms associated with degenerative diseases of the bones and joints. It is used to relieve pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis. This medicine is slow acting and is used as a long-term treatment option for osteoarthritis

The recommended starting dose of Diora 50mg Capsule is 50 mg once daily with evening meal for the first 2 to 4 weeks of treatment, after which the recommended daily dose is 50 mg twice daily.

Side Effects Of Diora 50mg Capsules

  • Intense yellow urine
  • Increase in liver enzyme levels
  • Allergic skin reaction

When not to use

  • Consult your doctor if you have a history of allergy to anthraquinone derivative.
  • This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known allergy to diacerein or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
  • This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having severe impairment of kidney function due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.
