Cran Max Powder/Sachet 10’s
Cran Max Powder/Sachet 10’s is suggested for use in urinary tract infection prevention, as a urinary deodorizer for incontinent patients, to treat type 2 diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, scurvy, pleurisy, as a diuretic, antiseptic, antipyretic, and to treat cancer.
Studies show a significant reduction in the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections in the elderly, hospitalized patients, and pregnant women.
There is no reliable evidence that shows effectiveness for treating urinary tract infections. Urinary odor: Preliminary research shows there may be a reduction in urinary odor in patients receiving oral cranberry. Diabetes: Clinical studies show NO improvement in fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, fructosamine, triglyceride, HDL cholesterol, or LDL cholesterol levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Cran Max Powder Sachet 10’s is available under the following different brand names: American cranberry, black cranberry, European cranberry, low cranberry, moss berry, Oxycoccus macrocarpus, trailing swamp cranberry, Vaccinium erythrocarpum, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Vaccinium occycoccus, and Vaccinium Vitis.
Cran Max Sachet 10’s has been used for reducing the risk of “bladder infections”. It has also been used for decreasing the smell of urine in people who are unable to control urination. This product should not be used alone to treat bladder infections.
Uses
it is used to treat urinary tract infections. Some evidence exists for the use of cranberry in preventing but not treating, urinary tract infections. Other possible uses for cranberry, with limited evidence, include reduction of the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Side Effects Of Cran Max Powder/Sachet 10’s
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially: aliskiren, lithium, drugs that may increase the level of potassium in the blood (such as ACE inhibitors including benazepril/lisinopril, birth control pills containing drospirenone).
When Not To Use
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
