Description
Bifilor Sachet 10’s
Bifilor Sachet 10’s is most commonly used for treating and preventing diarrhea, including infectious types such as rotaviral diarrhea in children. It has some evidence of use for other types of diarrhea, acne, and a digestive tract infection that can lead to ulcers.
The sachets can be taken either during, before or after meals. Pour the contents of the sachet in a glass of water or sweetened beverage, mix, and drink. The powder can also be mixed with food or poured into a baby’s feeding-bottle. BIOFLOR 250 mg contains living cells.
Econorm powder is a probiotic preparation containing Saccharomyces Boulardii as an active ingredient. It is used to treat acute infectious diarrhoea and is also used in treating and preventing antibio. It can be taken directly by opening the sachet as a powder or mixing with any liquid and food of your choice.
Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately. Darolac Sachet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Uses
This medication is used in treatment of infectious and nonspecific diarrhoea. Also used in the treatment of acute diarrhoea and various kinds of diarrhoea. Treatment of prevention of digestive complications of anti biotic therapy; colitis (nflammation of the inner lining of colon) and candidiasis (fungal infection).
Side Effects
The side effects are epigastric disturbances (discomfort in upper abdomen area).
Saccharomyces boulardii may cause certain side effects (such as gas and bloating). In addition, there’s some concern that use of Saccharomyces boulardii may lead to fungemia (a condition marked by the presence of fungi in the blood).
When Not To Use
Use of probiotics in severe acute pancreatitis is contraindicated. Use is also not advised in patients at risk of opportunistic infections and in those with badly damaged GI tracts
