Avil Syrup 15mg 5ml 60ml is used. Avil Syrup contains pheniramine maleate, a medicine used to treat allergic conditions such as hayfever, runny nose, itching skin, and skin rashes. Avil is an antiallergic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine). This relieves symptoms of severe allergic reactions due to insect bite/sting, certain medicines, hives (rashes, swelling, etc).

Avil 25 Syrup is effective in controlling symptoms of cold tearing of eyes, nasal stuffiness, and discharge from the nose. All these symptoms are relieved by Avil 25 Tablet. This combination medication is used to temporarily relieve symptoms caused by the common cold, flu, allergies, or other breathing illnesses (such as sinusitis, bronchitis). Antihistamines help relieve watery eyes, itchy eyes/nose/throat, runny nose, and sneezing.

Avil Tablets contain pheniramine maleate, a medicine used to treat allergic conditions such as hayfever, runny nose, itching skin, and skin rashes. It is also used in the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness due to inner ear disorders (eg Meniere’s disease) and travel sickness. Cetirizine is an antihistamine medicine that relieves the symptoms of allergies. It’s used to treat: hay fever. conjunctivitis (red, itchy eye).

Uses

This medicine is used in the management of allergic conditions such as hay fever with attacks of sneezing, itching, running nose, inflammation of the conjunctiva of the eye, urticaria (rash), and reddening or swelling of the skin.

Side Effects

Patients using this medication may at times experience dry mouth, drowsiness, nervousness, irritability, incoordination, dizziness, lack of concentration, urinary retention, and GI (stomach) upset. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.

When Not To Use

This medicine should not be used in patients with prostatic hypertrophy (enlarged prostate gland) and hypersensitivity to pheniramine.
